  Leading a team of six people, I am successfully managing Kroomsa which helps Indian bands promote their music on the web. A win-win model has been created as the revenue generated through the website is shared between the artist/band, Kroomsa and an NGO.

  I conceived the idea of using social networks to target online marketing precisely. After assembling a team of four, I started working on this concept. But the concept proved to be ahead of its time, so we closed shop. However, Precimark was a great learning experience for me on social interaction and leadership.

  My job was to manage and edit the magazine and its website, in addition to writing articles for the magazine.

  NaramCheez has developed many software and provided them free on the internet. The company has also served many international clients by developing custom applications.

• Summer Researcher at School of Physical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi | Modeling firefly flash synchronization in a group (May, 2007 - July 2007)
  Under guidance of Dr. Ram Ramaswamy, modeled the phenomenon involving synchronization of flashes in a group of fireflies (of a select species). Specifically, implemented Mirollo and Strogatz model, verified it and later expanded it to include spatial considerations.
• Research Intern at National Center for Biological Sciences, Bangalore | A predictive tool for protein-protein interactions in a specific protein family (Dec, 2006 - Jan, 2007)
  Working under Dr. Mukund Thattai at National Center for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, developed a web based tool for predicting subclasses of proteins (belonging to a specific protein family) based on its amino acid sequence only. The tool is written in Python and hosted on LINUX. The webserver giving access to the tool will be online soon.
• Summer Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore | A quantitative model for the regulation of the bgl operon in E. coli (Jun, 2006 - Jul, 2006)
  Under guidance of Prof. V. Nanjundiah and Prof. S. Mahadevan in Molecular Reproduction, Development and Genetics department of IISc, Bangalore, developed a quantitative model (in SBML language) for the regulation of the bgl operon in E. coli. The prestigious summer research fellowship was awarded by the Indian Academy of Sciences.

  1. Designed a business plan on 'Educational Biotechnology Kits for Students' (Oct, 2005 - contd.)
     This business plan was for a company called BioGeeks which deals in educational biotechnology kits for students. The business plan has already won 1st prize at Bioventures, IIT-Delhi.
  2. Designed a business plan on ‘Customization of mobile phones’ (Jan, 2005-Jun,2005)
     This business plan was for a company called Revolutionize which aims to revolutionize the mobile phone market by letting customers design their own phones.

  1. Working on the 'Artificial Being Project' (Nov, 2002 - contd.)
     The project aims to create a complete artificial being with full human like capabilities. It will be conscious, intelligent, self sustaining organism.
  2. Implemented numerous Artificial Intelligence techniques (2003 - contd.)
     Implemented Genetic Programming & Self-Organizing Maps in Python language and Cellular Automata software in Visual Basic. A feed-forward backpropagation neural network was implemented in C++ & Visual Basic. In addition to this, also wrote my version of Genetic Algorithm and a basic chatbot.
  3. Wrote tutorials on Particle Systems, Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms.
  4. Devised my own algorithms such as 'Explore!' and Artificial creativity.
